Bringing the hope and light of the gospel on the wings of song to the stages Christ came for– the lost, the last, and the least.
JESUS IN A BAR
Jesus was called a winebibber and a glutton during his time on earth because he was often seen eating and drinking with tax collectors and sinners. His very first miracle was turning water into wine. He loved people from all walks of life, especially those who were the most broken.
This leads us to believe that if he were visiting the earth today you might find him sitting in a bar somewhere having a drink with a complete stranger and that stranger might leave that bar forever changed. Churches and bars are similar in that they are filled with people looking for a community or an escape from life’s heartache.
Once a month a group of songwriters bring the hope of the gospel through their songs to a bar in our city. We also do a monthly show at a coffee "bar" as well. Let us know when we can come to yours!
JESUS BEHIND BARS
What started in bars has since traveled behind bars into prisons around TN and in Kentucky. We have felt a strong call to the forgotten stages of the world, and one of our favorites is inside the walls of a prison.
Through partnerships with organizations like Men of Valor, we have been able to step into these spaces armed with songs and stories of hope.
We love all the men and women we’ve encountered behind bars and worshipping God with them is a special gift. Jesus makes it very clear in the scriptures that whatever we’ve done unto the least of these we’ve done unto him. We like to imagine Christ himself is in the audience, and while many of these events will never be broadcast on social media, we believe God, who sees what is done in secret, is watching and rejoicing with the angels.
JESUS IN A NURSING HOME
“You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.”
— Leviticus 19:32 (ESV)
Just as we bring Jesus into bars and music venues, we also bring Him into nursing homes across Nashville. At places like Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation & Healing and Green Hills Rehabilitation, our community of songwriters shares the hope of Christ through music and testimony with residents who often feel forgotten.
These gatherings are filled with worship, laughter, and connection. Our songwriters play familiar hymns and oldies, and share stories of God’s faithfulness that spark joy and stir memories. More than a performance, it’s a ministry of presence—sitting with those who have lived long lives, honoring their stories, and reminding them that they are seen, loved, and not alone.
